Progress Meeting - 94 GHz miniature network for EarthCARE reference measurements FRM4RADAR

On 3rd and 4th March, 2020 at the location of the Romanian Atmospheric Observatory - INOE (Magurele, Romania) will be organized the second progress meeting for the project FRM4RADAR: 94 GHz miniature network for EarthCARE reference measurements financed by the European Space Agency.

Measurement Campaigns 2019 - 2020

ACTRIS Trans-national Access

RADO is a new research infrastructure, now part of the pan-European infrastructure ACTRIS - Aerosols, Clouds, and Trace gases Research InfraStructure network. 1st European Lidar Conference

The 1st European Lidar Conference ELC2018 will l be organized in Thessaloniki, Greece, between 3-5 July 2018. Final calendar of DUST 2014 is available. Authors who received the communication of acceptance for their abstract are required to provide a full paper before June 30, which will be published in ProScience, a new open access conference proceedings series.



Regular seminars are held at RADO's conference room twice per month, on Wednesdays, starting 09:30 hour. It generally takes one hour, out of which 40 min are dedicated to the main topics, 20 min to news, announcements and discussions.


2nd ACTRIS WP6 Winter School, Mar 10-21, 2014, Helsinki, Finland

This summer school is an advanced course to deepen the training aspects for atmospheric aerosol measurements. It is mainly intended for Ph.D students, young scientists, and personnel from aerosol measuring stations involved in CRAICC, ACTRIS, GAW, GUAN, PEGASOS, and EMEP.
