Laser induced fluorescence based techniques are largely non-destructive investigation methods, appropriate for laboratory or in-situ analysis of type / composition / degradation / purity of solid, liquid and even gaseous samples. Fluorescence signal analysis provides precise identification of biologic pollutants and not only, based on the fact that any material has a specific spectral fingerprint, which can be identified in certain conditions.
