Science Ambassadors in Schools

During May 2018, scientists from INOE visited several schools/high-schools in Bucharest and Magurele and presented why physics is important, especially atmospheric physics and what a career in research looks like. The main objective of this activity was to enhances school/high school students’ knowledge on atmospheric physics and also on research activity by putting together easy communication and scientific concepts. Most of the visits were dedicated to "in classroom" interactive presentations. Presentations have been prepared and presented in such a way as to attract students and eventually make them think of science as a possible way forward and why not to a research career.
