Active remote sensing is not yet very well known in Romania. Nevertheless, a young and dynamic community was built in the last years.

We invite you to participate on 5th of December, 2012, to the "Lidars and applications" conference. This will be organized at the Romanian Atmospheric 3D research Observatory, in Magurele, Ilfov, and will comprise presentations of signifficant results obtained by the Romanian lidar groups:

  • National Institute of R&D for Optoelectronics
  • University of Bucharest, Faculty of Physics
  • "Al. I. Cuza" University of Iasi
  • "Babes-Bolyai" University of Cluj-Napoca
  • "Politehnica" University of Timisoara
  • National Administration for Meteorology
  • National Institute for Aerospace Research "Elie Carafoli"
  • ROManian Air Traffic Services Administration

There is no participation fee. Please send your intention to participate to Dr. Doina Nicolae, nnicol@inoe.ro
