RADO is a new research infrastructure, now part of the pan-European infrastructure ACTRIS - Aerosols, Clouds, and Trace gases Research InfraStructure network. The 1st European Lidar Conference ELC2018 will l be organized in Thessaloniki, Greece, between 3-5 July 2018. ELC is a new initiative of European lidar scientists and aims to establish a new concept for a conference, giving emphasis on triggering extended and lively discussions among the participants, encourage them to ask questions and get answers from leading experts.

The Kick-off Meeting of the NATALI project is scheduled for 1st of April 2014, starting 09:00. The KoM will be organized at our location, with the participation of Dr. Bojan R. Bojkov, Head of the Sensor Performance, Products and Algorithms Dept., Earth Observation Mission Management Division, Directorate of Earth Observation Programmes, ESA/ESRIN.

The Summer School on "Clouds and Precipitation: Observation and Processes" provides theoretical and practical training on clouds and precipitation (instrumentation, retrieval and processes). Participants will benefit from a hands-on training with the instruments from the JOYCE site.

Regular seminars are held at RADO's conference room twice per month, on Wednesdays, starting 09:30 hour. It generally takes one hour, out of which 40 min are dedicated to the main topics, 20 min to news, announcements and discussions.

This summer school is an advanced course to deepen the training aspects for atmospheric aerosol measurements. It is mainly intended for Ph.D students, young scientists, and personnel from aerosol measuring stations involved in CRAICC, ACTRIS, GAW, GUAN, PEGASOS, and EMEP.
