The European Commission has made a long-awaited decision to establish the ACTRIS as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC). Seventeen (17) countries are pooling resources to provide open access to a wide range of technologies, services, and resources in the field of atmospheric science. The decision and ERIC status are published in the Official Journal of the EU.
