CEO-TERRA was a project co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development, through the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014-2020, POC-A.1-A.1.1.1-F-2015-152/2016. The aim of the project was to create a world-class infrastructure for observing and characterizing the environment through advanced optoelectronic methods. This infrastructure was relevant for the terrestrial segment of the ESA Earth observation program and constituted an integral component of the pan-European research infrastructures ACTRIS-RI and InGOS.
