We are excited to announce the installation of a 30 m measurement tower at the RADO-Bucharest station as part of the IM⁴CA project, in collaboration with EMPA.
Over the coming months, the campaign will support advanced atmospheric observations, including methane isotopes, ethane, carbon isotopes, CO₂, and 3D wind measurements to improve methane source attribution and emission estimates. These efforts contribute to the goals of the IM4CA project, which focuses on quantifying methane emissions from key anthropogenic sources such as oil & gas, landfills, and agriculture.
We look forward to the insights this collaboration will bring for atmospheric research and climate action. Stay tuned!
